Olive oil in Olei Floris farm ... Targets

After a short trip in Yeniköy Foça in 2008 we decided to buy an olive plantation. We buy and starded in very small lot in order to learn to manage this business.
In our farm there was 45 olive three which are 45 years old. They are unique in their nature. In the first year we obtained 811 kg olive and then 175,5 olive oil with 0,9 acid level.
We firstly decided to grow them in organic way.
Then started to make a research for a clean water source within our farm. In july we found water source in 153 meter deep.

We construct a fence made of woven wire then a wall gate for entry to our farm in order to protect our farm.
Then we put cow fertilizer , we trimmed our threes ( first time in their life) .

In april we plant an additional 24 olive threes. Now we have 69 olive threes in our plantation.


Our production target is to harvest below quantities until 2011.

2009 1075 kg olive (43x25)
2010 1290 kg olive (43x30)
2011 1622 kg olive (43x35 + 5x24) % 100 increase with compare to 2008 harvest.

Our quality target is to obtain 0 level of acid in 2012.
